Sharaf Arts & Science College is a self financing institution approved by Govt.of Kerala and affiliated to Kannur University. The college is run by Khidmath Organisation of Padne. ( Shortly known as KOP). The difficulties experienced by the students especially Muslim girls of this area and the neighbouring areas in getting higher education and the aspiration of the members of KOP to elevate them from this dismal state, paved the way for the realisation of a long cherished dream of establishing this institution in the year 2003.
The college strives for promotion of academic excellence and provides quality education to those who seek for it. The college has been developing into a modern seat of learning, keeping abreast of the new trends in higher education.
